  • Sony has introduced an updated version of its wireless over-ear headphones, writes The Verge. The price is $449, which is $50 more expensive than the previous model.
  • The device can be folded for transportation in a case. The case itself has become smaller; instead of a zipper, there's a magnetic clasp.

  • The headband has become wider and puts less pressure on the head, notes the publication. The earcups, made of artificial leather, are removable.
  • According to Sony, the headphones have received improved noise cancellation and sound quality. The WH-1000XM6 has 12 microphones installed instead of eight in the previous version, clarifies Bloomberg. There is stereo-to-spatial sound conversion.
  • Battery life on a single charge remains the same — up to 30 hours with noise cancellation and up to 40 hours without it. According to the company, three minutes of charging will provide up to three hours of operation. Users can charge the device and listen to music simultaneously. Available colors are black, silver, and dark blue.
