Apple has launched two new professional-grade monitors: the Studio Display, starting at $1599, and the high-end Studio Display XDR, starting at $3299.

Shared Innovations: Camera, Audio, and Connectivity
- Advanced 12MP Camera: Both monitors feature a 12MP ultra-wide camera with Center Stage, which automatically keeps you centered in the frame, and Desk View, providing a unique top-down perspective of your workspace.
- Immersive Sound System: A studio-quality, three-microphone array ensures crystal-clear calls, while a high-fidelity six-speaker system supports Spatial Audio for a cinematic listening experience.
- High-Speed I/O: Connectivity includes two USB-C ports and two next-generation Thunderbolt 5 ports, enabling faster charging, rapid file transfers, and the ability to connect a second monitor.
Display Technology: A Tale of Two Screens
- The Studio Display offers an impressive 600 nits of brightness.
- The Studio Display XDR, replacing the Pro Display XDR, pushes the limits with up to 1000 nits of sustained brightness for SDR and a peak of 2000 nits for HDR content.
- Exclusive to XDR: The premium model also includes a 120Hz refresh rate with Adaptive Sync technology and a cutting-edge mini-LED backlighting system.
Ergonomics and Availability
- The Studio Display stand offers tilt adjustment, while the Studio Display XDR stand provides both tilt and height adjustment. An optional nano-texture glass finish is available for both models to minimize glare.
- Pre-orders will begin on March 4, 2026, with the monitors becoming available for purchase on March 11.
