Leica M11-P Safari Camera Introduced in Green for $10,000
Since the 1970s, Leica has been releasing special Safari Edition versions in olive-green tones for some of its cameras. The mirrorless Leica M11-P Safari received not only an updated color but also a number of other minor differences from the original model, which was released in October 2023.

- The camera boasts an olive-green painted brass top plate and leatherette trim of the same color. The controls and grips on the body are finished in silver, as is the screw that carried over from the original version, replacing the Leica red dot logo.

- Aside from the external differences, the internal workings of the Leica M11-P Safari are identical to the existing model; it supports Content Credentials metadata recording. The camera has 256 GB of internal memory, an additional slot for SD UHS-II cards, a 60-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, a Leica Maestro III image processor; it also features support for the 14-bit DNG format, a rangefinder with a light field and automatic parallax compensation, as well as the legendary Leica M mount.

- On the rear panel, there is a 2.95-inch touchscreen, an electronic shutter, and continuous shooting capability up to 4.5 frames per second, with an ISO range of 50 to 50,000. The 60-megapixel sensor is complemented by 'triple resolution technology'—you can also choose 36 or 18 megapixels. The Leica M11-P Safari is already on sale for $10,495, which is $655 more expensive than the original version due to new tariffs from Donald Trump.
