Figma Introduces AI Features for Creating Websites and Apps
As well as a service for marketers and a vector editor.
- Figma introduced new AI features at the Figma Config conference, reports The Verge.
- The first tool is Figma Sites, a website builder. It includes pre-configured layouts, blocks, and templates. You can add transitions, animations, and scroll effects.
- It is currently available to subscribed users in beta. Later, AI-powered code generation and a content management system for websites will be added.

- The second tool is the Figma Make 'vibe-coding' service. It can convert text into code. It is powered by Anthropic's Claude 3.7 model and can create prototypes and working versions of applications based on descriptions or existing projects.
- Individual elements can be edited manually or configured using AI prompts. The tool is available to all users in beta.

- The third tool is Figma Buzz for marketers. It is available in beta to all users. With it, designers can create templates and styles that marketers can use to create emails, social media posts, ads, and more.
- It includes AI features for generating and editing images using text prompts.

- The last tool is Figma Draw. The Verge calls it a 'simplified version of Adobe Illustrator.' It is a vector illustration editor with brushes, textures, and features for creating and adjusting images and logos. It is available to subscribed users.
