Apple to Sync Public Wi-Fi Connections Between Devices in iOS 19 — Bloomberg

Users will not have to re-enter data on each device.

  • Users will only need to authorize on their iPhone, iPad, or MacBook — the system will automatically synchronize data with their other Apple devices, writes Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman.
  • Currently, to connect to a network requiring authorization in hotels, airports, and other public places, one needs to separately enter a username, password, and accept the terms of use on each device.
  • Apple will hold its WWDC 2025 conference from June 9-13, 2025. On the first day, the company will present iOS 19.
