Elon Musk: Wikipedia analog Grokipedia to be released 'in two weeks'
Initially in a beta version, the entrepreneur said.

- Musk's company xAI is developing Grokipedia. According to him, the service will be significantly better than Wikipedia and will bring the AI company closer to the global goal of understanding the universe.
- He calls Grokipedia an open-source knowledge repository. There will be no restrictions on its use. No other details are available yet.
- On the All-In podcast, Musk said the Grok model uses complex reasoning algorithms and can figure out what on a Wikipedia page is completely true, what is partially true, where the lies are, and what is missing. After that, it can rewrite the text, removing fakes, clarifying half-truths, and expanding on the missing context.
- In October 2023, the entrepreneur wrote that he was ready to give the online encyclopedia $1 billion if it changed its name to Dikipedia. He criticized its lack of objectivity.
- In early 2025, he stated that Wikipedia is an offshoot of 'left-wing' media and a source of propaganda, — and called for people not to fund the service.
