TikToks of iOS 26 controlled by facial expressions go viral — users scroll the feed with their tongue
And for "likes," they raise their lips.
- One of the options available in iOS 26 is controlling the interface using head and face movements. If the appropriate settings are configured, a facial expression — for example, a smile or wrinkling your nose — can replace certain actions like a double-tap on the screen.
- To activate the option, you need to go to Settings, then to Accessibility, and enable Head Tracking. After that, you can configure the required action for a facial expression or blink.
- TikTok users found a use for the feature, which is primarily intended for people with limited mobility, in the form of scrolling the feed with their tongue — they stick it out and mimic licking the screen to switch between videos.
