Apple has introduced the MacBook Pro with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max processors. The new MacBook Pro models come with 14- and 16-inch Liquid Retina XDR displays, featuring a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. Both models offer versions with M4, M4 Pro, or M4 Max chips and will be available for sale starting November 8, 2024.

The base 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 chip now includes 16 GB of RAM instead of 8 GB, priced at $1599. Models with the M4 Pro and Max processors come with updated Thunderbolt 5 ports instead of Thunderbolt 4. The 14-inch version with the M4 Pro starts at $1999, while the 16-inch version starts at $2499.

These laptops run on macOS Sequoia 15.1, featuring AI-powered functions, including an updated Siri, Writing Tools for editing English text, and an AI-powered notification summary. According to Apple, the new MacBook Pro models offer around 24 hours of battery life.

Additionally, Apple announced that the base models of the MacBook Air with M2 and M3 will now include 16 GB of RAM, with prices remaining unchanged at $999 and $1099, respectively.

In early October 2024, blogger Wylsacom showcased an unboxing of what was allegedly a 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 chip, matching the specifications of Apple’s base model.

On October 28, 2024, Apple, as part of its "announcement week," introduced the iMac with the M4 processor, featuring a 24-inch display and priced from $1299.

On October 29, the company unveiled an updated Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro processors. The computer is smaller than the previous version, measuring 12.7 cm by 12.7 cm, and priced from $599.
