Samsung Released T7 Resurrected External SSDs with Recycled Shockproof Casing and Speeds Up to 1050 MB/s
Samsung has launched its new T7 Resurrected Portable Solid State Drive (PSSD) line. Available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, these drives feature a casing made entirely from 100% recycled aluminum sourced from the manufacturing of Samsung Galaxy mobile devices.

A Focus on Sustainability
To minimize environmental impact, Samsung has left the aluminum unpainted, showcasing its natural finish while reducing chemical use and streamlining production. The product's packaging is also eco-conscious, made from 100% recycled paper and printed with soy ink.
These sustainability efforts earned the T7 Resurrected a CES 2026 Innovation Award in the 'Sustainability & Eco-Design' category.
